My Christmas toadstool and gnome collection

I've shared this picture before.  It's one of my favorite Christmas pictures of my little sister and myself.

If you look very closely in the picture, you can see that my sister and I are playing with Christmas gnomes.
Perhaps this explains my continued obsession with toadstools, Christmas gnomes and German elves.
So wonderfully festive and magical.

Little houses made from toadstools.  What fun!
There really is a feather tree underneath all the ornaments.
Merry Christmas and Happy Weekend!
PS. I f you haven't signed up for my Christmas miniature room box give-away, there's still time.

OH, I love the new header photo! How cute to have a little tricycle for the little boy-I've never thought of that! And I love this gnome/toadstool tree! I have a weakness for the little german gnomes as well- when I did some weeding out of my vintage Christmas collection, the gnomes were one set that I definitely held onto. I used to draw countless pictures of toadstools turned into houses for mice, so I guess that relates as well!

Ah, the innocent times of Christmas gnomes. Now, all they want is the computer! No thank you, you're still getting toys if I can help it!
Dontcha sometimes wish you could just go back in time and enjoy all your old toys? And SAVE them knowing they'd be collectible and worth money?!!
