A Shamrock party at the plantation dollhouse & give-away winner

Have you been to Target lately?  They are selling miniature shamrock lights for $3 near the dollar bin area.
These miniature lights (along with Viv's swap) inspired me to remove the Valentine decorations from the plantation dollhouse and to replace them with a few St. Patrick's day decorations.
The miniature pot of gold is currently available at Hobby Lobby.
My Valentine doll (purchased from Magpie Ethel) has had a temporary Irish makeover with some strategically placed felt and trim held together with a few straight pins.
With our mountains of snow outside, I decided to leave the snowy base around the house.
With our cold temps, we probably will still have snow on St. Patrick's day.
This evening's winner of my Kim K. miniature-inspired give-away is Linda from LBP sews.
She was selected by Miss Josie.
Please share your postal address and I'll get your miniature roombox in the mail.
For everyone else, I love giving away my creations as much as I enjoy making them, so you can plan on some-type of Easter inspired Kim K. give-away in the future. XOXO

St. Paddy's day is one of our favourite celebrations, I love your shamrock makeover! You have reminded me that a shopping trip to Target is long overdue. The polar vortex is back so I anticipate our snow banks will also be sticking around - last night was the 28th extreme cold alert this season, the worst winter in over 4 decades!
Congratulations to Linda, lucky lady!

Glad to see you are up and around and feeling better.
Even with snow on the ground the green gives the plantation house a spring feel.

I was totally forgetting about St Patrick's Day! Why, of course you have to decorate the house for that. I may need to go to Target today to get my green on!

Hurray for Linda! She will love her shadow box! I just adore those shamrock lights. I got them last year at Target and have them on my St Patrick's tree. As usual, everything looks great Kim. And seeing the dollhouse is always such a treat. Hope you're feeling good!

My Target is always picked over before I get there...but once in awhile I get lucky! I like the idea of your doll house getting holiday make-overs. I have never decorated for St. Patrick's before, but I am having fun with Viv's swap. I can't wait to see what everyone makes.
