Ever have one of those days...

It was one of those days. Our cars were broke into last night in our driveway, I had too many commitments at work which had me running from one campus to the next, I wiped out in a computer lab during one of my faculty trainings (I didn't rip the knee of my right pant leg, but my knee and my pride is killing me), Chris had to work late with parent-teacher conferences (which meant an extra long day of driving across town to pick up children from from two different daycare centers), dinner wasn't served until after 7pm and it wasn't much of a dinner.

I'm beat and Tuesday just needs to end.

On the other hand, I need to put life into perspective.

My family is healthy.

For the most part, my family is happy.

I have a good job (which I normally like).

I have good friends that I can complain to and I really should stop complaining because it could be much worse.

Here's to a good rest of the week.

Oh Kim...I'm so sorry that you had such a bad Tuesday. Bless your heart! I hate when days like that happen!!! You're doing great though to get a different perspective!! I hope your Wednesday is much better.

On a different note...I have not had the time to check on your friends know...the one adopting a 3 year old. I've been so busy. I will try and stop by her site soon. I would love to help them in anyway I can. I'm still trying to adjust to my new "work" schedule. I had to stay home today because Silas wasn't feeling well. I love spring...but I do not like the allergies that come with it!

Oh well...Hope you have a great day!
Love ya,

Hoping that today will be good one for you! What an awful day you had to endure yesterday!
Well, at least your pride was the only thing injured during your fall. Geez, you NEED a break! Too bad your spa gift certificate was stolen. Unbelievable!

I am so sorry to hear this, Kim! I admire your ability to look on the brightside. I hope you can find a little "you time" or "quiet time." We are thinking of you! xo, Caroline

Sorry! This too shall pass! I hate the violation of the car, but life is so much greater than the petty stuff. In two weeks you'll be in a different place. Sending good karma your way.
