This coffee cake recipe was a favorite Christmas breakfast treat growing up. It tastes just like cinnamon rolls. Yummy!
Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup nuts (I didn't include nuts because of the girls, but I love them)
Place 1/2 of mix in 9 x 13 pan. Cover with topping. Spread remaining 1/2 mix over the top and add the rest of the topping. Bake 325 degrees for 40 minutes.

Yum! I must admit that I take the easy way out and buy an Arnie's coffee cake for Christmas morning...but maybe I will change things up this year!
Looking forward to seeing your next project!
