Jolly Good!

Friday will be the first morning I won't mind the 5:40am alarm clock. I secretly can't wait to watch coverage of the royal wedding (guess it's not a secret anymore now that it's on the blog). These are just two of the many books I own on Princess Diana.

I was in love with Princess Diana and remember being glued to the television during her wedding and then during her funeral procession. Chris bought me this special tea mug during our recent trip to her traveling exhibit.

In case you are planning a royal party of your own, there are two fabulous sites with free royal wedding printables. I only printed off a few things..aren't the crowns delightful?

Royal Wedding Bunting

Royal Wedding Party Printables

This tea towel is from Cath Kidson which was recently featured on one of my favorite blogs birdie blue. I think I need one.

I was exactly Emma's age when Diana and Charles married and I can't wait to share this event with her. I hope this wedding continues to have a fairytale ending.

Have a jolly good time watching the royal coverage!

XOXO

I remember watching Diana's wedding. I had a slumber party at a girlfriends and we work up to watch in our jammies. But that fairy tale ended so dismally I just can't seem to get caught up in this one. I wish them so much happiness if it is possible in their over photographed world. Darling stuff you have here...enjoy it with the girls...smiles...Renee

Thanx for joining the Mother's Day Giveaway and sharing a special memory. Good luck and I am also a follower of your blog. Please pray for the families involved in the devastating storms in AL. Our little town was not harmed. Thank the Lord! Tiff

I watched Diana's wedding and funeral too. I remember getting up at the crack of dawn to see the wedding and then was so annoyed to find out I could have slept in since they replayed it continuously all day long. haha I was in Canada visiting relatives and they were a lot more into the festivities than people in the US. Fun memories... :)

Oh fun -- I do remember Charles and Diana's wedding, though am not planning on watching -- or at least getting up that early to watch.

Enjoy!!

I don't think I'll be getting up extra early to watch coverage. I'm sure we'll be hearing all about it for days...

I remember watching Diana's wedding and crying during her funeral. Like a previous commenter, I am having trouble getting caught up in all the hype, but I do wish the couple a very happy marriage!

I used those same Design Editor printables, they are so wonderful. I put the ones that are designed to go around tea cups around a pot of daffodils for my assistant and included a Union Jack flag and a tea bag of English Breakfast!
It was a magical event. I loved everymoment of it (I have watched the ceremony 3 times!!) and of course, I could not help thinking of Diana. I watched her wedding and funeral and I know exactly where I was when I learned of her tragic death. She was the people's princess. I understand someone left a rose at the crash site yesterday, stating "thinking of you today", and I think everyone was.
