Paint Chip Easter Garland & Jelly Bean Topiary

One of my favorite adoptive/crafty blogs (Waiting for Two) featured a lovely Easter garland she made from paint chip samples here.

Pure genius.
Have fun exploring her blog.
Her daughter is a little sweetheart too.

Craft #2
If you're looking for a super easy topiary,
grab a bag of jelly beans, your glue gun and a Styrofoam cone.

It's easy to construct.
Pinky swear.

In addition to the topiary, I also decided to make a special pedestal using a dollar store candle stick, a saucer that is missing its teacup with my favorite e-poxy glue. Thanks for the tip on the glue, Sunny!

Supplies:
Styrofoam cone
Hot glue
Bag of jelly beans

*Optional
White glue, glitter, ribbon and other embellishments

Step 1. Layer jellybeans onto a styrofoam cone and attach with hot glue.

Step 2. This is optional but I love glitter and how it really made the jelly beans sparkle. I coated the jelly beans in white glue (using a sponge brush) and added white glitter to the entire cone.

Step 3. The final step is to add some ribbon, flowers, a mini rabbit... or whatever else you can find to the top. I attached the bunny and ribbon to my topiary using a straight pin.

Happy Crafting!

Happy Easter!

Love that jelly bean topiary, but you didn't mention whether the glue or glitter are toxic. You see, I'm going to be tempted to eat that topiary at some point!
