Vintage Board Games...

Before we hit the road for our weekend roadtrip to Detroit, I stopped at our local Goodwill to drop off another clothes donation. I managed to find a couple of board games to add to my collection. I love the graphics from this Clue game.

I found this game for Josie and she had fun filling the picture templates with colored pegs.

These are few other games that I have in my craft room.

They were at my grandparents home and I remember playing them with my sister on weekend visits.

My craft room has one wall devoted to Chinese checkers. I collect them for their fun graphics and Asian theme.

Now, that we are back home and officially on spring break, I'm looking forward to playing a few board games with my girls this week....along with crafting, thrifting and shopping.

Happy Monday!
XOXO

What an amazing collection & that version of Clue was a great find !You have brought back many memories - Clue is probably my favourite childhood board game: was it the Colonel in the Ballroom...?

Have a terrific week with your girls!
Still need to figure out how to share pictures...found a great bird cage on a stand for a miniature display!
Off to Chicago tomorrow for the miniature shows/workshops.

I love to play Clue...That is a really neat version. There was a game that my cousin and I played all the time called "Dream Date" (I think.), and I would love to find it. At that time, it was "vintage" because it belonged to my aunt when she was a girl. I just loved the graphics...even at my young age then.

I kept you, Chris, the girls, and Nana in my prayers all weekend. Hope everything went well.

During my little expedition Saturday morning, I found a treasure I am going to send you...a safety pin basket! It is in all green beads so it will be perfect for St. Paddy's day.

Glad you and the girls are getting to spend the week together.

Happy Spring Break!
Many hugs,
Cindy

Those old games have such cute graphics on them! I have a few from when I was little, but I would love to have more, like that Cootie game. Unfortunately, it seems that whenever I find some, they're in the basement of an estate sale, and they always smell moldy!

Ah! Finally, It was a long weekend. Without your post I am at a loss for creative ingenuity. Hope your trip was good. You were certainly missed. Love. Love. Love the board games. My mom found a Candy Land and we had it framed for her so cute. I loved cooties. Lucky girls. I am off to thrift later this week when it warms a bit. More crafting tomorrow. Enjoy your time off. Smiles...Renee
