It's super easy and super cute!
1. Mix up a batch of traditional white cake mix and divide the mix into three bowls.
2. Mix blue food coloring into one bowl and red food coloring into a second bowl. Keep white cake mix in the third bowl.
4. Swirl cake mix with a spoon or drink stirrer.
5. Bake and decorate.
YUMMY!
She looks right at home with my red, white & blue bottlebrush trees!

Well, now I am craving a cupcake...
Magpie Ethel is adorable!
Looking forward to reading about your vacation adventures! Hugs!
Your cupcakes look yummy. And looks like the girls had a good time making them. Love the Magpie Ethel girl too. Have a great weekend.
Now I know what kind of cupcakes I'm making for the 4th! Thanks for sharing the idea!
Smiles,
Carol
super yummy!
How fun are these?? Super cute :) Enjoy your 4th!!
Love the cookies! I bought red and blue food coloring yesterday to make some decorated cookies. Perhaps I will give these a try too!
I plan on making these this weekend. I hope you are enjoying your time at the beach. I can't wait to hear from you when you get back.
Cute cupcakes...I am attempting the Martha cookie design on mine. Hope they turn out well because I have been assigned cupcakes for two 4th celebrations!
I look forward to more vacation posts! No beach for us this summer...I will have to experience it through you!
Much love,
Cindy
I always need to see some cupcakes! Hope you're enjoying your unplugged time at the cottage. The cottage that we go to every year in Wisconsin had WIFI for the first time this year. I have to admit that it felt a little weird, and I only checked email twice!
Happy 4th!

Looks like you had a lot of fun making the patriotic cupcakes!! Magpie Ethyl's creations are very fun, and that is an especially cute one!
