Go BLUE!

Our nephew celebrated his 11th birthday with a University of Michigan football inspired party on Sunday at my parent's house.

Even my Aunts (who are die-hard Michigan State fans) were open to wearing blue/gold attire for the day!

We couldn't have asked for better weather for outdoor games.

UofM certainly holds a special place with our family. It's where I attended graduate school (1990-92), Josie also went there in 2008 to have her open-heart surgery, and Chris's mother also has spent quite a bit of time over the last few years in their cardiac unit.

Go BLUE and Happy 11th Birthday, Liam!!

XOXO

Such a fun theme, everyone looks so great in blue!!! I really love varsity letter style (like the M) in Michigan, we don't see enough of them in Canada (hockey country!)

That looks like a great party!
A while ago there was a Michigan game on tv (my husband was watching a game before it) and there were scenes of Michigan and I thought of my blogging friend from Michigan!
