It is Remembrance Day in Canada Day tomorrow - my daughter will be singing in a choir at a memorial service. Wishing you and your family a meaningful Veteran's Day. Both our countries are truly blessed because of the sacrifice of others.
Those pictures of your dad in the service are amazing. What a sweet gift to cherish and share with your girls...A big thank you to your dad as well! To all of those who serve and served before them. Hugs..Renee
Ah, I love those old Army pictures!Tell your Father thank you for me and Welcome home from the Spencer family in Conover, NC! I have learned as a Blue Star Mother that the troops from Vietnam were not welcomed home when they came back!! Such a sad and embrassing part of our history. I have had the privilige of saying Welcome Home to several Vietnam vets that were my patients..I am honored to say that they welcome those words and you should have seen the sparkle in their eyes when hearing those words and then seeing those eyes fill up with tears!! It broke my heart. My son has finished his service in the Army and I am always humbled when I seeing people thanking him and welcoming him home! God Bless our Soldiers and their families!
In 2008, we traveled to China to adopt a toddler who needed
heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with SN adoption. When I'm not at work, you might find me at an thrift/antique store or estate sale. I also love to sneak in a craft project and decorate our multiple dollhouses with my girls.
Come play with me!

In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with a SN adoption with others.
When I'm home from work, I love to sneak in a weekly craft project or a trip to my favorite antique/thrift stores. Come play with me!
