Aren't they sweet?
Supplies:
Spools of thread
Ribbon
Buttons
Mini Christmas trees
Glitter
Glue (white tacky glue and hot glue)
Scissors
1. I started with brushing some white glue onto miniature trees and then dusted the trees in white glitter. Set trees aside to dry.
2. Cut ribbon the diameter of the spool and glue onto the center of the spool with white glue. Add a miniature button onto the center of the ribbon with hot glue.
3. For some of the spools, I traced and glued scrapbooking paper to the top of the spool.
4. Finally, hot glue miniature tree on top of the spool.
Merry Christmas!

Very cute, crafty lady!
I have a bunch of these trees and need place card holders for Thanksgiving...maybe I will bleach them and add glitter.
You have inspired me to do some crafting!
Those are absolutely darling and would look soooo cute on a shelf or mantle!
Happy Crafting!
Oh Kim these are just precious. Thanks for sharing. Now to find some wooden spools.

Those are so awesome. I totally do not need ANOTHER Christmas inspiration and yet I know you'll have a lot of them coming up. Can't. Stay. Away.
You are soooo amazing and crafty..
Have fun..
Love seeing all these cute things..

Super Cute Kim!! I may try that!
You've created the cutest little bottlebrush forest EVER! I want to bleach some of these and dye them aqua to sit amongst all of my Christmas angels!
have you got your Halloween decor put away?
these trees are super cute!

Girl you wear me out! I know how you feel about putting decor away. I get a pain of sadness at Halloween, but when the Christmas goes away, I almost suffer from depression!
E and J looked great in their costumes. Josie tickles me with her superhero obsession, and Emma looked absolutely breathtaking in hers.
Yep, on that Saturday you were having the best Halloween party ever, I was in my kitchen unloading boxes and consequently straining my back. We are coming to celebrate one of these days...I pinky promise!
Bring on those Christmas crafts!
Much love,
Cindy
Those little trees on the wooden spools are quite adorable! Very vintagey!
Blessings,
Janet

These are adorable! I have a jar full of spools I picked up at an antique shop and now I have an idea what to do with them! Came over from Rook No. 17.
You did a great job. They look adorable! Where ever did you get those miniature trees? Are they new or vintage? If new, please share where! Pretty please? You done good girl!
Really adorable, you did a lovely job - thanks for sharing about it at the Rednesday party!
These look so simple to make that maybe even *I* can do it!
DITTY IN RED
Just a pinch of scarlet
To liven up the place;
Just a hint of ruby
Brushed upon your face;
Just a bit of cherry
Dancing round your toes;
Just some sanguine colors—
That’s the way it goes!
