My favorite antique vendor recently had a barn sale with several other vendors and I pretty much emptied her booth. I have to share my two favorite acquisitions.
These blow molds stand less than a foot tall.
I {heart} them!!
May you have a thrifty/crafty weekend! PS. One of my 2008 blog posts
focusing on my Asian-themed Christmas tree
is being featured on Pagoda Road here.
They have 10 trees with all sorts of wonderful decorating ideas. Instructions for making my little girl ornaments can be found
here.

Great finds!
I should post today what I bought yesterday at an estate sale....at half price (last day of the sale). Always fun to find bargains!
Have a great weekend!
Oh how cute!
I didn't get a chance to tell you how much I appreciate your Father's contribution...he is to be much admired for his service, those were very difficult times.
Kim your tree on the other blog was in good company but yours is so special we think it is the most inspiring. Its always fun to see what you find. Remember that we have a large box of our old ornaments for you and Michelle to go through let us know when you can getr up. The Aunties
You are so lucky to find those!
I have never found them (although I don't think I've looked much for them).
I think I need one or more!

Oooh, I would have loved to attend that sale! How fun! I've never heard of blow molds before, but I love them! Lucky you!!
Wonderful finds! And the tree featured is a gem.
I have always loved your Asian tree. This year I think that my Asian tree will be much bigger with all the new ornaments I have collected! Congrats on being featured!!!
By the way, thank you for sharing the Pagoda Road site. I am a new fan!
Good luck on the hunt for more treasures...I have been going through all of mine all day while I put back our dining room. So many memories have been recalled today!
Many thrifty hugs,
Cindy
I love blow molds!!! I hope to get a few more this year. My husband is hoping I don't find any more - he's not a blow mold lover.
