Now that Erica has received and opened her package, I can show you the rest of the Christmas house that I decorated for her. One of my favorite things is the tiny glittered covered package stuffed into the opening of the chimney.
I glittered tiny millinery flowers for the trees and wreath. If you look closely, you will see tiny toadstools near the front door.
The plastic Christmas figurines were given to me by my Aunt Marion. She generously shared her crafting supplies with me.
The fence and miniature wreaths came from Hobby Lobby. I took the fence apart with wire cutters and glued it to the base of the house. The pom pom trim along the roof line reminds me of little snowballs.
Here is a view of the back of the house.
The gold snowflakes that I added to the windows also came from Hobby Lobby. This is how the house looked once it was all wrapped.
I also added a few more vintage Christmas goodies to my package before sending it out. This was such a fun exchange.
Thank you for hosting, Erica. I'll be sharing the house I received from her later this week. It's just over-the-top dripping with Christmas goodness!!

Oh it is wonderful. I just mailed mine to my swap partner yesterday and she mailed mine. I can't wait to see my house and see if she likes mine. The one I made isn't as cute as yours.
It was a fun swap.
I am having "A cup of kindness" swap if you want to sign up. Easy Peasy for sure.
Kim, you did such a little wonderland on your house. So cute with the vintage touches. Love the little toadstools. I'm sure Erica will absolutely love it!
Too Keeeute for words. I wish I would have had time for that swap. Now I'm getting ready for an event here in Arizona called "Artzona" where a bunch of us ATC makers (from around the country) get together and swap.
Have a great day,
Meri
My gosh! That is just darling!!! You did a wonderful job on it, Kim. She must have been over the moon to be on the receiving end of that. Can't wait to see the one you got- xo Diana

Hugs!!
Gorgeous!What a wonderful gift,so generous of you-Denise
What a sweet house you created, Kim! I love all of the glittery goodness, especially those tiny flowers on the bottle brush trees. The mushrooms add a fun touch, too! I think you should make more of these, you did an amazing job!
Merry Christmas! As someone who used glitter glue (combo) on paper crafts I just must ask: do you use spray glue or a wash of glue/Mod Podge to do these things?
Love it!
Delightful! If I tried that it would turn into a case of Glue, sweat and tears. Can't wait to see what you get in exchange.
Great job, Kim! You have your Mother's miniature gene!
Enjoy your day~
I love doing those houses and adding all those little touches. Yours turned out great!
Such a darling house, Kim. I imagine you put the house together as well as decorate it. I need to learn to make my own house templates...the Hobby Lobby houses are cute, but not enough variety. =D
It is so beautiful Kim!! Such Christmas prettiness! ;) xo Heather
Soooo cute! So many sweet little details. You did a wonderful job and I'm sure your exchange partner will LOVE it!
So cute!!! Love that tiny little fence. Did you make the house from scratch or is it one of the cardboard ones from Hobby Lobby?
Love it! My favorites are the tiny toadstools, and the pom-pom fringe. Cute!
Ahhhh Now I see that the little Santa WAS from your Aunt! You were so generous to let him go!
Yes, I was the luckiest girl ever to receive this house and all the other little goodies! Oh! I also LOVE the present that is shoved into the chimney! It looks like Santa had to give up on trying to get it down there! LOL
Erica :)
Absolutely darling, Kim! What a great crafter you are! xo Nellie
You have a way with houses! Although, I've never seen anything you haven't been great at yet!
So cute!
I LOVE all the little details like the little flowers, toad stools and the gifts in the chimney!

The pompom edging and the little toadstools are just the perfect touches. Love it all.
Absolutely beautiful! Red and blue are one of my all-time favorite color combinations. The polka-dot trim is absolutely perfect!
