Our eggs-traordinary reveal (like you'd expect anything less)!

Several years ago, we made a couple of minion Easter eggs based on the Despicable Me movie.

 This picture was from 2011.
This year the girls have fallen in love with the movie Frozen and so we decided to make the snowman Olaf out of two of our non-dyed eggs.

Out came my glue gun, marker, yarn, googly eyes and pipe cleaners.

 Isn't he rather cute?

Of course, we also made a few dyed eggs.    I don't know who has more fun decorating eggs (me or the girls)!

Another familiar Easter tradition is the return of Mr. Easter Bunny to the front porch.
Mr. Easter Bunny is sporting a new pink bow this year and I added some Christmas lights and plastic eggs to the window box.  I have a few more things to share later this week.  Until then, Easter hugs from our house to your own!!

PS.  We woke up to fresh snow this morning.

I'm sure no one is surprised, but I had to document it on the blog.
Today is only a high of 36 but we are expected to see 50s later this week.

I love your Olaf egg! I am going to dye eggs this week too, I don't think I will ever get too old to want to do that.

SNOW! Are you serious! I would be having a cow. Easter eggs and snow, that ain't right!

Blessings

Olaf is eggtraordinary! Love that movie. Glad to see Mr. Easter Bunny is back. He probably thinks you are nuts for putting him outside in the middle of winter:)

How cute, Kim! The girls sure have grown, and are such pretty young ladies. Nothing like snow in the middle of April to make everything look more festive! We woke up to it as well!

Oh- How cute- Olaf is my favorite character in the Frozen movie-which we have now viewed at least 35 times (that is NOT an exaggeration) lol Love your bunny and eggs out front. Look how your girls have grown and changed!

We have snow here, too. Who can believe it? We got down to 18 last night. UGH

Enjoy Tuesday! xo Diana

Cute! There is always such a fun and creative spirit in your home. You have the luckiest kids on the planet. We had a tiny sprinkling of snow yesterday, but it has already melted off.

Mr. Easter Bunny is probably looking for a hat and scarf, lol. The weather is just way too crazy this year. Though I remember we got snow on Easter a few years ago, yuck. Love your Olaf egg, so cute.

More snow here as well. Not as much as you had. Supposed to be cold tonight.
Love your Olaf. What a great movie. I think it has to be a winner for the little girls and some boys.
Have a wonderful Easter.
I really like that Bunny.
Wow, your girls are growing up and so beautiful.

Love it! I saw Minions made with half of a Twinkie on Pinterest and want to try them with the kids soon. Your Olaf is lots of fun as are those little girls holding them.

Haha! "Great minds think alike!" Had to come check out your Olaf - looks just like him! What did you use for the nose?
Making those Minions was the first craft we've done in a while. I miss it all - blogging, crafting thrifting. It's amazing how little time there is left now that I'm not a stay-at-home mom. To everything, turn-turn-turn
there is a season, turn-turn-turn!

(I can comment if I use IE! Eureka!) My son's girlfriend is a big Minions fan, and I might have to make some of these for her. (We're too old for Frozen, I guess.) Love seeing how your girls have grown up. And yes, snow here, too, but it's melting fast. (I think this is the most disjointed comment I've ever left. I'm just so excited!)
