The picture of your Dad with the kids made me tear up. And the one of him holding his uniform. Wonderful tribute to your Dad. Tell him thank you!

This post really touched me Kim. I still have my Dad's Army jacket, which he had to wear after he got out of the Army, because he didn't have a winter coat. He took off all of the patches though, and misplaced them. Many years later, he and I would go to the flea market every Sunday and try to find replacements for all of his patches. I even wore the jacket for a time, in my tomboy years. Such great memories you've brought back to me today. Please thank your Dad for his service to our country, ok?
