My Holly Jolly Vintage Christmas Tour...

I have a shelf in my sunroom that stretches 20 feet long. It is filled with all my favorite vintage Christmas collections. It's way up high. Away from little hands and little kitty paws.

My sunroom tree is filled with all my favorite vintage ornaments.

(Thank you for the bead ornaments Aunt Jean & Aunt Marion)

I'm living on the edge with this tree. Our kitten Luna loves sleeping under this tree because the sunroom floor is heated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't find the ornaments as lovely as the heated floor. We do have a GIANT tree in our living room that is filled with non-vintage ornaments. I've nicknamed it our "church" tree because it's 11 feet tall and 7 feet wide. I'll share pictures of it tomorrow.

Next to my craft room, the sunroom is my 2nd favorite room in the house. A few other of my favorite vintage Christmas items include...

...the Christmas mail carrier that hung on the door at my grandparents home that now collects our special mail...

...this bell door hanger on my laundry room door...

...these fabulous "tacky" ornaments...

...special candles and bottle brush trees...

...this lamp post, special Santa(s) and card from Viv...

...and this special snow shovel vignette.

Linking up with :
It's a Very Cherry World: Rednesday

Coloradoloady: Vintage Thingie Thursday

PS. Paper snowflakes, snowmen & our GIANT tree
will be featured first thing Thursday!

XOXO

I love both your tours. Your bedroom is exquisite, must be so nice to relax in that space. I have never really decorated the bedroom for Christmas, so I was very intrigued. As for Jolly Holly, you have an amazing assortment of fun collections. I really love Santa's Mail. How cute!

omg!! Your sunroom is amazing!! I love the shovel with vintage images on it!! Adoreable!! I found a sleigh almost like yours at a yardsale this past Saturday! My neighbor called and told me to get up to the next neighborhood quick, vintage Christmas goodies at a Christmas garage sale. So I got up and got dressed got hubby up out of the bed and up we went(I can't drive yet) so I walked away with some treasures!!

Your home is amazing!! Love all the vintage and yep tacky decorations too! Lots of hugs!

So much scrumptiousness! My favorite is the shovel!!! That shelf is the best! I'm guessing it's put to all kinds of decorative uses throughout the year. : )

I always love to see how you decorate your sunroom. I would probably spend all my time in there, I think it would be a great place to curl up with a great book.

My Mom used to have one of the ceramic trees with the little lights on it. I am so jealous that you have snow already. I guess you are a little North of here.

I love your sunroom, Kim, and the long shelf makes such a fun display area! I adore all of your bottle brush trees, and wonderful vintage ornaments and decor, like the lamp post. Your big tree sounds amazing! Can't wait to see it! It would put our poor little tree to shame:) Looks like you are going to have a white Christmas!!

Your Luna is so sweet! Just put a bow on her and she'll be the cutest gift under the tree. (My daughter's cat was named Luna too. Sadly, she went to kitty heaven a few days ago.)
What wonderful vintage decor! I found your little Gurley deer and choirboys. The aqua blue beaded ball is lovely! My husband's grandmother made some similar ones years ago and I am VERY happy that we were able to rescue them and hang them on our tree. (Someone else in the family put them in a box to be trashed when the house was being sold.) I love your dollhouse surrounded by all the cute little trees.
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!!

What would Christmas be without at least one tacky ornament? LOL

RED HAT

Red hat, I am lonesome.
Red hat, are you free?
Red hat, please consider
Coming home with me.

I need a companion,
One who’ll warm my head;
I think you’ll do nicely,
Hat of brilliant red.

You’re the warmest color,
Not like blue or green—
Red hat at the vendor’s,
Red hat, you’re my queen.

Hello Kim, I love your beautiful Christmas displays and your lovely tree. Luna looks content sleeping under the tree so far. HA! We have a pup that is very interested in all the changes in our home for Christmas. I saw a pink angel flying through the air while she had a cloth moose in her mouth. Sigh!!! she is two and I was hoping her age might slow her down a tad. All I ask for is a tad. She is winning.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. I can't wait to see that tall tree.
Hugs, Jeanne
