Hungry as a bear!

Last CNY, one of my absolute favorite Canadian blogs (Let's Go Fly a Kite) posted a tutorial for making felt Chinese food here and I was completely smitten. Over this past weekend, Josie got busy serving up a few of her favorite dishes.

felt wontons

felt fortune cookies and eggrolls

felt stir-fry veggies

Yarn noodles

The pretend wok came from the
Tuesday Morning store.
It actually sizzles and lights up.
Very cool!

In case you're looking for other felt tutorials,
last year I also made these cupcakes

and these chocolate/strawberry sundaes

Just think...zero calories!!
No stitching either.
All glue gun.

If you're lucky enough to dine at our special restaurant, you might even get a waitress who wears a batman mask as part of her uniform. As you can imagine, she's in high demand .

XOXO

Oh!!! what a fun collection of felt food for such a hungry bear. I really love the idea of a wok , our play kitchen is missing that. On my list for Valentine's is to make some cupcakes like yours.

PS that highchair is adorable.

I have been tempted to make felt food before. Yours is adorable!
Certainly food would seem more special with a batman mask wearing little super hero.

Those are amazing and adorable! When my daughter was small my favorite thing to play with of hers was her felt dolls with their felt clothes. So simple but fun. Thanks for sharing
