Even Santa shops at estate sales...

A recent estate sale provided a couple of Christmas gifts to check off Santa's list.
When Santa saw this portable record player in mint condition at a recent estate sale, he swiftly placed it in his bag knowing that Josie loves listening to read-along record albums.  Between you and Santa, the replacement record needle cost more than the record player.   Santa also picked up these 78 speed records knowing a certain Mom would enjoy using the record cover graphics for special projects.

A never-opened Peanuts board game also found its way into Santa's bag.

A couple of plaid thermos bottles were also added to Santa's stash.  He thought they they might come in handy for those long trips on Christmas eve, or perched on top of a shelf as part of a Christmas display.

Santa also scooped up a few containers of Christmas light bulbs knowing that a certain crafty Mom would have special plans for them.

Bet you didn't know that even Santa likes to be thrifty!!

Happy soon-to-be weekend!

Your Santa is awesome! The record player made me grin. My kids had a tape recorder, that's what they will be nostalgic for, I think. So much cuteness.

First off, you title totally cracked me up! Santa is a very smart man! We are also going to an estate sale this evening, which is quite a strange time to have for for this auction company. Hopefully others will be out Christmas shopping at retail stores, and NOT at the auction, to help minimize our competition lol!

When I was a young teen my mother found an old record player with a stack of sixties 45s at a yard sale for $10...a shocker, because $10 was a fortune to me at that time. But I had many happy hours rocking out to those old songs...performing in front of my mirror. Josie will sure know that you love her!

Ever since I saw your vintage stove, I had to get one. it arrived today, and I am thrilled with it. Can't wait to decorate it this weekend with some vintage goodies! Love your wreath too! Is it weird that Santa could leave the exact same things for Me as He is leaving for Josie, and I would be totally content with that?
lol Erica :)
