Living for the three-day weekend!

I'm already dreaming about the approaching Labor Day weekend. This fun-filled yet productive past few days, simply wasn't long enough. And yes, I spent part of the weekend creating new Halloween decorations (pictures and instructions to be posted later).

And as a follow-up to Verna's advice on how to find out which hand is the dominate hand (use a toilet paper roll or rolled up paper as a telescope. Have your child put it up to their eye. Whichever eye they use is probably the dominant side) Josie consistently put the paper roll to her left eye. That being said, she painted with her right hand and cut her play-doh with her left hand. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Have a great week! I can't wait to fight traffic and parking spots at GVSU.

She is just going to keep us guessing isn't she?!? My brother uses left hand for some things, right for others. He plays left handed golf, but wears a baseball glove on on his left hand, writes left handed, but eats right handed. So funny :)
so excited about your Halloween crafts!!!

I'm still trying to figure out PG's dominant hand, too. She can equally write, cut, eat with both so I don't know which to encourage. Hmmmm.

LOVE the owl cup!

as a photographer, I can say which eye is dominant is not the same thing as which hand is dominant... :)

I was thinking the same thing - the dominant eye may not be the same as the dominant hand. But hey, she is a talented little girl if she can continue to use both hands!
I hope you'll have a geat three day weekend! We'll be heading to Chicago on Friday - too bad you can't join us there!
