My wood flooring in the craft room was installed Tuesday. That room construction is officially done!!
I'm not ready to do the big reveal quite yet. Until I finish organizing and sorting, I’m going to show you parts/pieces.
You'll start to see lots of toys in my craft room. I've been collecting all kinds of dolls and toys on my many adventures to the Allegan Antique fair. This craft room supports my second childhood...hee hee.
In other construction news, the mudroom is coming together nicely and Emma's room now has drywall. This is the view of our driveway and all the construction vehicles this morning.
They've been showing up around 6:45am everyday. This is serious business.
In CNY updates, the multicultural office at my work is hosting an Asian New Year Festival Thursday night. We're hoping to attend. We've gone the last three years and they do a fantastic job. The lion dance and the tasty food are always our favorite parts of the evening. Josie also has a dentist appointment Thursday afternoon (to fill a cavity) so I'm not exactly sure how she'll be by the evening. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can attend!!!

Yay, your craft room is coming right along. It looks there is an end in sight. It looks like a wonderful room. I am sure you will spend many wonderful hours crafting!
Hi Kim,
Well, I am living your life right now. Since Saturday, its sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming every afternoon. As of this morning, they have everything roughed-in, and this afternoon it's the dry-wall and prepping the floor for tile.
I will post some pics tonight of our mess. . .prepare to be scared! Ha!
I am drooling over your craft room. And I can't wait to see Emma's bedroom. I know that it will be lovely and a reflection of her!
Hope you get to your CNY celebration. We are heading to one at the UT campus on Saturday.
Much love,
Cindy
Everything is looking great!
Lookin' good...can't wait to see it all finished! I hope Josie does well at the dentist.
So excited for you!!
I can't wait to see it all done!
Happy decorating and crafting :)
Kim, your craft room is going to make you very happy, I can tell. By the way, I'm sure I had that pink plastic dollhouse furniture when I was a girl! I'm so young, how could they be vintage already. :-)
