Flower Button Bouquet

It all started with these buttons...

and then this post from Magpie Ethel came along and she showed off her button bouquet (along with a lovely tutorial) and I decided to make my own. I'm actually quite happy with it and I think I have a new addiction (I mean a reason to collect buttons).

Supplies:

Buttons (various sizes)
Wire
Floral tape
Silk leaves and flowers optional

1. Stack buttons (largest to smallest) and thread wire through the top and back down making a u shape.

2. Twist wire to close.

3. Wrap wire with floral tape and silk leaves (optional). I also tucked in a few silk flowers in my bouquet too.

I used only cream and pink buttons, but a variety of colored buttons would be spectacular.

Renee - my button bouquet looks perfect with your gifts.

Happy crafting!
Happy Friday!

It's Fun to craft! Look at me party!

Be sure to come back.
First thing tomorrow, I'll be sharing long-overdue treehouse pics.
XOXO

Hi Kim--
I am just now getting caught up with reading what you all have been up to. Last week Tori had dance rehearsal and the recital all weekend, and this week I have been under the weather with bronchitis and in charge of graduation festivities. It has been a test of my endurance and patience!

First--Let me wish Emma a very happy and joyful thirteenth birthday! Emma, you are such a sweet blessing to your family, and you are becoming such a lovely young lady!

Second--I did catch a quick peek at your post on Josie's dental work...I did lift up many prayers for her that day. Hopefully, there is a better day for her coming up soon. You know God sometimes has a way of rescheduling things for the better!

I love, love the button buds! Just how cute is that!!! After I am finished with all this darn school stuff, I will be so glad to be at home doing my crafting and scrap booking!

Can't wait to see the tree house interior. Hope to get a post up on my blog soon!
Hugs,
Cindy
