So far all our storms have occurred on the weekend and Emma is hoping for a much-needed snow day on Wednesday.

It's coming Frodo...
My husband is a Lord of Rings movie nut and that line is frequently mentioned at our house. If you haven't seen the news, we have another major snow storm headed our way (10-16 inches). Here are a few outdoor pics taken at our house over the weekend.

Cute snow pictures. I am sure the girls have had lots of fun playing in the snow this winter. We have a slippery layer of ice outside this morning. I just got the call that we are delayed two hours. Now it is time to wait and see if we end up closing. Have a great day. I hope Emma gets her snow day.
Wow! That's some snow!!! We just received our 2nd snow day of the year. That's what happens when you live in the south with no sand trucks! :) Happy February to y'all!
We have stocked our cupboards in preparation for the upcoming storm...hope it gives Emma her much desired day off school! It is always nice to recharge our batteries on a snow day!
Stay warm with lots of that delicious hot chocolate! I really do hope that Emma gets some snow days. But I hope that the storm is not as bad as they are predicting...I always worry about those without a warm place to stay.
Have lots more snow fun!
Cindy
Looks like your girls are having fun in the snow, at least! I lived for snow days when I was little! We are supposed to have 18-20" (they keep increasing the amount, yikes!). Keep warm and safe!
Wow, what a way for February to begin. Although it is quite beautiful, you must really be getting tired of all the snow! Hope that you stay safe and warm!
You go inside and STAY THERE!!!!
Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
that hot chocolate looks amazing!
