- In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. What a milestone! I love the Kai-Lan lunch bag and the big smile.

I really think I lost month this summer. I think every year goes faster. Josie looks very happy!
I always loved all the back to school shopping for my kids when they were little. And the supply shopping too.. I love the smell of pencils and crayons!

Summer did fly by! Today I had to go to school to meet with a teacher I am subbing for this week, and it was as though summer never even existed! Hope your girls have a fun and successful back to school!
I agree -- that was the fastest summer ever! One blink and it was over!

Yes the summer did go by quickly. It also seems that every year school starts earlier. Bet the girls are very excited!
