Updates

I'm happy to report that Josie's doctor appointment went very well. We are to continue her breathing treatments, but the fluid has gone down in her right lung and she is clear to attend daycare on Monday! Woo hoo! Thank you for all your prayers and email messages. It's been a stressful week of juggling parental duty and work obligations.

In other good news, Emma has been selected to be in a higher level for fifth grade math (she certainly didn't get that trait from her Mommy) and Chris is celebrating his 40th birthday on Saturday! We're hoping Emma scores a soccer goal (in her bright neon yellow uniform) in celebration of Daddy's big day.

I'm still hoping that we can stop playing musical beds at night (Chris and I are continuing to take turns with cosleeping duties). Just look at this ever so sweet picture of my sleeping beauty taken this afternoon. Why oh why, can't she do this all night long?

Have a great weekend, everyone.

What darling photos. We too are having problems getting our 3 year to sleep on his own during the night.
I think you and I live in the same state. That's kind of cool.
Sounds like you all have a very fun and busy week ahead..enjoy : )

What a sweet photo of sleeping beauty..

Just something else to let you in on coming from a person who has grown up with a sleeping disorder, I can sleep like a log for an afternoon nap-- but at night, I never enter restorative sleep. This has been medically tested-- and I was told to continue (if possible) afternoon naps, but to keep them at a minimum of 45 min-1 hour.

Of course now, a nap during the day is just a dream (no pun intended) for me at this stage in life, but you may want to ask Josie's doctor "how long" she should nap. I know it is probably different for a child, as they need much more rest, but it is something to look into measuring.

I am glad Chris had a great birthday-- I am coming up on #39 next year...that should be fun!

Blessings,
Kay
