I wrote this last Mother's Day and I have to say, the words still hold very true.
Being a Mother is probably the one thing in my life that I am the most proud of. My girls help me be a better person. They constantly tolerate and participate in my creative art projects, they make me laugh, they force me to leave work at WORK, and on most days, they make me feel like I can conquer the world!!!
I've been staying up late in my craft room working on Emma's French birthday party decorations. Emma's family birthday party is going to be very feminine with lots of pink and black.
Here's a sneak peek.
I found this ladies straw hat at the thrift store for $2 and added pink ribbon, black lace, a fake pearl necklace and a lovely costume jewelry pin in rose & black.
Who knew that scrabble pieces could be so versatile!!
I also found a website on etsy (Paper Glitter) that has the cutest Paris Birthday Party printables!! I've got everything printed off, so I'm ready to start cutting and gluing away!!
I'm planning on spending my Saturday getting my craft on, as well as doing laundry and getting our nasty refrigerator cleaned out. Have a splendid weekend doing whatever makes you happy.
