Haunting Halloween Give-Away!

To celebrate my obsession with Halloween and crafting, I thought I'd give a box filled with all kinds of Halloween goodies. I'm serious when I say that I love giving away my creations, as much as I enjoy making them.

Your Halloween items will include a Kim K. Halloween bingo card, a Kim K. Halloween crepe paper wreath, a Kim K. Halloween party hat, a decorative Halloween frame from Target, a set of four Halloween dessert spoons, a Mummy-shaped cookie cutter with recipe, a Kim K. special potion bottle, and a box of tasty treats found in the Target candy aisle!

“Slow but steady wins the race”

Chris finished the railing around the tree house and it looks fabulous and very "safe".



He and our neighbor (thanks Mike) have also been busy on the metal roof.

I swear every time I peek outside, they are perched in positions that make me shutter.

Next up, siding and finding a front door.

Frightfully easy no-sew project...

Before I share my no-sew project, I wanted to show off the Halloween decorations on my bedroom mantle. I had been hinting about them, but never got around to posting pics.

I'm serious when I say that every room in our house gets decorated for Halloween. We are THAT crazy about Halloween.

Now, onto the project...please ignore the fact that I need to pull out the iron to get rid of the wrinkles.

I have a window above my kitchen sink that regularly gets holiday makeovers with decorative cloth napkins. If I owned a sewing machine (or sewed for that matter) I’d stitch my two napkins together. Straight pins work just as well and Marshall’s and TJ Maxx regularly carry decorative cloth napkins at the holidays for less than $3.

Supplies: 2 Halloween cloth napkins, decorative trim, hot glue and straight pins.


Fold napkins over curtain rod, pin napkins together, hot glue decorative trim across the top (or bottom) and voila!
As promised, I was busy over the weekend. My craft room was a huge mess.

Later this week, I’m going to post my Halloween give-away. I’m going to fill a medium-sized box with all sorts of Halloween goodies, including several Kim K creations.

My...how they've grown...

We took the girls to our local pumpkin farmer for our annual pictures today.

Two years has gone by so fast.

We filled our car with loads of pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn.

Life is good.
Especially with Halloween tattoos.

Such a tease...

I've been talking about my last Allegan Antique Market of the season, but I never shared any pictures. Here's a few shots of my stash.

My favorite purchase was the lamp.

I gave it a Halloween makeover with my hot glue gun, some beaded trim and one of my famous Halloween bingo cards.

It's now tucked in the corner of my kitchen.

I've got big plans for everything else. Right now it's 10pm at night, the girls are in bed, I've got laundry going, but I'm up to my elbows in art supplies and my craft room is a total disaster.

Have I said how much I love having my own room to make a mess? I can even shut the door and pretend the mess isn't there. I'm feeling very festive and so a Halloween give-away will be happening soon. Have a great weekend and happy crafting!
