I have the fever!!

Emma's Varsity Marching band made a brief appearance for the pregame show.

Then, the rain started and we all got drenched. They ended up not preforming at halftime, but we were still proud parents.

This morning, I attended my first-ever estate sale.

It was the second day of the sale and everything was 1/2 off.   The vintage Christmas and toys were still in abundance.   This is what came home with me.  Yes.  That's another Chinese Checkers.  I couldn't resist at $2!!  That box is packed full of goodies and I have a load of vintage aprons soaking in the sink.
I seriously have the estate sale bug.  I promise to share my treasures next week.  Laundry awaits!

Wow! Lucky! There are rarely good estate sales here... and definitely never anything that looks like that! Another fun, new hobby for you!

How exciting for your daughter. Hopefully the next game won't get rained out. I didn't realize you had never been to an estate sale-they are addicting. When you show the aprons, please tell us what you soaked them in, I'm always looking for answers on that front.

Great finds for you, Kim! We once went to estate sales and auctions, and they were both great fun for us! I rather miss them.

Too bad about the rain and the band. We had our outdoor plans altered today because of rain.

Oh what fun finds...but not so much fun with the rain and the band. I hate when things like that happen after everyone is all pumped for it. Blessings to you and your family this weekend- xo Diana

Emma looks terrific in her band outfit i wish i could hear the full ensemble. Those finds look incredible, such Christmas goodness. Looking forward to a report, I am so glad that a little part of someone's estate is going to someone who will love and cherish it.

I believe we experienced the same storm, it even shut down the airport for awhile!

All it takes is one good estate sale and you'll never be the same again. I would have dived head first into those Shiny Brites!
