When I visited Michael's over the weekend, I noticed in their Christmas crafting supplies that they had teeny tiny mini houses for $1.49 and thought why not turn them into mini haunted houses!?!
Just in case you are wondering how small they really are, one house fits perfectly inside a plastic wine glass. I started by removing the silver ribbon on the roof and then painting the houses black. They were then embellished with a bit of ribbon, glitter and whatever else I had on my craft room counter.
The house is sitting on top of metallic grass (currently available at Hobby Lobby).
I made an extra one to share in an upcoming Kim K. Halloween give away. Be sure to check back. Halloween hugs!

Very cute~you are so crafty!
Picked up some great vintage trims & spun snowmen among many things at an early visit to the estate sale I have been teasing you about...I think I need to go there again tomorrow!
I love them! They look great as ornaments on your "spooky" tree!
Hope you're having a great week.

Hi Kim,
I love the Halloween doll house! The Halloween cloches are too cute! I noticed the witch's head on your table and can't wait to see what you do with it! Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs,
Lynn
How creative! Now, that's an idea that even I might be able to complete. Can't make any promises, though.:-) They really are perfect for this season! xo Nellie
How cute!
Kim...you are my hero! I swear, most of the ideas I steal/borrow are from you! I am definitely headed for Michaels as soon as it opens. I think what appeals to me the most is how small the houses are. I have always loved miniature things, but have never done the dollhouses like you do. I do think I may do something with shadowbox rooms some day. Thank you for brightening my Halloween-lovin' day!
Kim,
Loving these!! You are so creative!! Thanks so much for always stopping by..The remodel is going well and I will be posting about it soon...
Hugs,
Debbie
Hi Kim,
Those are so cute! I saw those minis in Michael's a while back,I did buy the cookie tray and gingerbread house for my dollhouse. I didn't realize you had a dollhouse until I was reading on one of Debbie's dollhouse posts. I will have to go back and look at all your miniature anything posts. I just adore miniatures! I hope you will visit my blog, my last post has my dollhouse pictured in it.
Have a great day.

Wow -- so cute!! Love that!
Those are so cute! I have no idea why they sell houses that small though unless they knew you'd find something fun to do with them!
I think this is such an ingenious idea! I remember that post from the past and had wanted to try them! So happy you not only reminded me but also gave it a Halloween twist! They are great. I'll have to get to michaels!
So fun Kim!! Love them both, I bought some of those wine glasses a little while back, I should get them out! :) Hope you're having a great week! xo Holly
