Estate sale smalls...

Thank you for all the compliments regarding the restaurant booth.  Chris always enjoys reading my blogging friends responses to his latest finds and projects.   Between you and I, I've been enjoying my early morning coffee in the infamous booth.
In addition to the booth, Chris and the girls found a few other smaller estate treasures while I was at work. Looks like I'll need to make room on my wall for another Chinese Checkerboard!
This masked pumpkin will fit nicely with my blow mold collection.   Josie thinks we need to fill it up with candy.

This Christmas card holder is in perfect condition.  Aren't the graphics wonderful?
A Halloween cat and vintage ornaments.  I've already given away some of my stash to my sister.
I had hinted earlier that Chris also found goodies for my Halloween dollhouse.  All of these furniture pieces  have spooky makeovers happening as I type.
Even Emma has become an expert estate sale shopper.  She spotted a childhood favorite from my past.
Dawn dolls from the 70s.  This is totally dating myself.  These dolls were made between 1970-73.  I brought my Dawn Doll acquisitions with me when I saw my mom and sister on Saturday.  We had fun going down memory lane and remembering their tiny shoes and accessories.  Yes.  I'm so very very spoiled.

What great finds! I loved dawn! I had her, her boyfriend Gary, and friends glory & Angie! 1973 was a good year! Love the furniture! I picked up a great house on the curb on Saturday! One person's trash is another's treasure! Maggie/Maggie's lil' fixins

You find the best stuff!
Davis and I went to our local antique/vintage shops for the first and second time, yesterday and today, in months!
I saw a vintage game board and two of those metal doll houses (too pricy) like you have and thought you'd like them too. How is your sisters recovery? I hope well! I've had some complications and am only now just making it out for short adventures.

What fun it is to visit you . . . I am taken down a memory lane . . . my daughter loved playing with her Dawn dolls. (And that dates me too!)

I remember Dawn!!! She and her friends were very groovy, man. Estate sales are sort of like finding buried treasure to me. You have to sift through a lot of half used bottles of lotion and scary looking fox things you wore around your neck to find the good stuff, but it's such a rush when you do find it!

You are very spoiled, but I'm sure you spoil him right back. Wow, those "Dawn" dolls are a blast from the past. My little sister had those, I was too old to play with them when they came out, but she sure loved them.

Hugs,
Meri

Great finds, and I'm enjoying the thought of you having coffee in your home restaurant booth! (All you need is a wisecracking waitress ... either of the girls a candidate?)

I'm in awe of not just what people find at estate sales, but how often they go. Maybe it's a location thing, but I never find estate sales over here. Luc-ky!!

Love it all! I found that Santa card holder at an antique store last year but I made myself put it back! Booo! The pumpkin with the mask is so great! I think that one must be a bit rare.
Glad you were able to play with your dolls again! :)

I remember Dawn dolls too, Kim! You sure have the best luck finding the neatest treasures. That black cat is just too cool! Best of all, your entire family gets in the treasure hunting act:)

How fun that you found one of your favorite dolls! I love the vintage Santa card holder and the little Junior elf books. (I recently found and snatched up a JE Gingerbread Man book.)
